It's very, very slow, but after a long processing time, my order went through.

Along with the announcement of The Fate of Lee Khan, all of MoC's prior King Hu releases are on sale for £9.99 each. Some other good deals as well, though it's hard to tell where since the pre-discount prices displayed don't correspond to RRP. Any MoC titles other than The Holy Mountain in the 2 for £25 list give you the best deal.

Well this is a positive development that they're announcing such things. Project A looked sold out on their site a month ago

Early Murnau: Five Films £19.99
Early Hou £15.99
The Ninja Trilogy £19.99
Keaton Shorts £21.99 BD/£19.99 DVD

Site crashed few hours ago and still under maintenance. I hope they will still have the Project A set when the site becomes active again.

Eureka! wrote:Unfortunately due to some technical issues we're having with our website, the 48hr Sale that was announced earlier today will now take place at later date. Details to come shortly.
We are currently working to get the web site back up and running ASAP, and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.

The eureka site is finally back up and with it the special offer from several weeks ago has been re-activated through Sunday.

Did they send out a notice that the sale was back on? I do not recall receiving it, so thanks for the heads up. Got the Keaton set also, along with The Holy Mountain and Come Back to the Five and Dime in the 2 for 25 offer.

Regarding the Riefenstahl, Beaver says the BD does not include the documentary that is on the DVD, whereas the MoC site says it does. I suppose I should trust the latter?

The Wonderful Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl is definitely on the MoC The Holy Mountain Blu-ray; I just watched it a few weeks ago. The Beaver review is of the Kino release.

Quite correct. I made the mistake of referring to the review from memory instead of checking it directly and thus forgot it was comparing the DVD to the Kino edition. Thanks for the info.

I placed my order yesterday:

Lucky
Birdman of Alcatraz
Born Free
The Defiant Ones
The Flight of the Phoenix
Inherit the Wind
King of Hearts
Marty
No Way Out
Salvador
Twilight's Last Gleaming
Witness for the Prosecution

I was able to log in a few minutes ago, but I didn't try to order anything. :)

Yes I keep getting an error saying I’m locked out if I try to log in or even reset my password. So I just ordered without logging in.

I was told by Eureka that essentially I had to create a whole new account. Which made no sense, but I didn’t feel like arguing.

Eureka completely transformed their site last Spring and every user had to create a new account (I created my new account in April); the older one and the order history associated with it were purged in the process. Depending on the the last time you ordered, that may be the explanation. Or else it's a quirk or bug of their new system. I have had no login problem over the last few days.

It's a quirk ... I ordered The Old Dark House from them after I moved into my new bright house, which was end of July, and I set up a new account then.

Strangely it seems that all Eureka! and Masters of Cinema titles are no longer stocked by HMV or Fopp in Manchester. Their dedicated section is gone and the titles are not even found in the general assorted sections. They are not on HMV's webstore either. Anyone know what is going on?

I don't think any of their stores have stocked their titles for quite a few months now. I did ask in one of their stores last autumn why they'd lost their stock and was just told it was probably a supplier contractual issue. I assumed they'd be back before long, but presumably it's still ongoing.
