People are already hyperventilating wondering if it's Martin based on the pic. Needless to say I'd be very happy if it turned out to be true, but any thoughts on alternatives? Probably another head fake. Maybe something with "teeth" in the title (like, uh, Teeth?)

I hope its either Martin or Planet of the Vampires.

Having seen already Planet of the Vampires through the French release, I can definitely hope this isn't it, because god that was awful.

Jared from Mondo Macabro posted that it is most likely a clue for Jose Larraz' VAMPYRES as Arrow has licensed a couple of his films.

Re: Announcements, Speculation & Wild, Irresponsible Conject
Would be happy with Martin, Planet of the Vampires, or especially Near Dark. Interested to see Vampyres as I quite enjoyed Larraz's Symptoms, so be happy with that too. And Vampire's Kiss would be an easy upgrade as I've seen that film more times than I'd be comfortable revealing.
So basically if it's one of those five, I'll be (easily?) pleased.

Highly unlike release:
Dracula (1979) with the colors back!
Anyway, from all the possible solutions to the question i've seen, I'd be interested in Fright Night 2.

Nice of him to say so that there isn't any more hype raised, and then people start swearing when it isn't!Drucker wrote:Not Martin

That would be incredible, actually. I wish there was an I.B. Technicolor print out there that fans could restore and upload a la the Star Wars trilogy. I really do think that John Badham has his pulse on American filmgoers like few before or since.Costa wrote:Highly unlike release:

Yes Martin really is the holy grail.
Does anyone know whether there’s any good materials to even mount an outstanding restoration?
Is there any chance it could emerge one day, looking as good as the Arrow exclusive restorations of Crazies and Season of The Witch, or Film Foundation/Criterion’s NOTLD?
*****
Excited very much so, to hear Arrow have a couple of Lara’s films. I loved BFI’s astonishing release of the superb Symptoms. Are we all going to be assuming that the beautiful and sleazy Vampyres is one of them?

Martin Goldman's Dark August has been submitted to the BBFC by Arrow recently.
Edit : Dark River will be an Academy title, to be released on June 25th.

Ted Post's The Baby is now the 2nd "Amazon Channels" only release from Arrow.
EDIT : a BD will follow, so it won't be an Amazon exclusive.

I notice that Fran Simeoni retweeted a Carlotta Films tweet about working with Arbelos on the release of Dennis Hopper's The Last Movie. It wouldn't surprise me if Arrow had picked it up for the UK, they'd be a natural fit.

Wow! That would be amazing.two labels don’t usually work together unless both are releasing it, do they?Calvin wrote:I notice that Fran Simeoni retweeted a Carlotta Films tweet about working with Arbelos on the release of Dennis Hopper's The Last Movie. Yes, I suspect it might be a project like The Fury for which the work was shared by multiple labels.
It might also be a case like To Live and Die in LA, where one label did the technical work on the movie and the other took care of the extras.
