Would it be possible to fix the year on Tony Scott's One of the Missing which is from 1968, but is listed as 1971

Do you know if it screened publicly prior to 1971?

I don't know that, and the linear notes on the release don't help either for an exact date.

One of the Missing's year has been changed to 1969 based on the NFT release date. If you ever need to get an IMDb title year moved earlier it just takes submitting a release date for the earlier year - after the date has been added a week or so later the title year will change. Changing a title year to a later year can be a bit more complicated, depending on what countries the title is from and what country the release date is from.

My job is going to be increasingly hectic over the next few months, so I'm probably not going to have a great deal of time to submit new titles. Please feel free to keep posting in this thread though, and when things quiet down I'll be able to start up again (and I'll probably submit a few titles here and there when I need a break from work anyway).

Current to-dos:

101 Lumiere
9 Korean
51 British Transport V.5-9
9 Irish Film Institute
9 Joy of Sex Education
8 Chris Welsby
4 William Raban
9 Jayne Parker
121 Kluge, Edition Filmmuseum V.21-34
19 Natl Coal Board
Las nuevas e inesperadas aventuras de Enjuto Mojamuto
Out of a Forest
Across England in an Aeroplane
Sailing to Brooklyn

Your efforts are greatly appreciated, sienel. I doubt you ever imagined when you volunteered to start doing this that your queue would one day number in the hundreds.

Kisses Once(Qing Hai Chong Wen) a Chinese film from 1929 appears to be missing. It's 60 minutes and directed by Xie Yunqing(who also appears not to be on the site).
Also le journal de la resistance(1944) as seen on Criterion's Army of Shadows disc.

Many thanks for all your hard work sienel. I've started to submit titles, and get them accepted, so rather than post in here in future I'll simply do the work myself.

Can you continue to let us know what you post sienel (and antnield)? It's nice to know that somebody is helping to update the imdb and this thread is a great place to look back and appreciate all of your hard work.

No problem Colin. I'll mainly be adding titles from BFI and Panamint releases - short films and documentaries - plus the occasional other that has somehow slipped the net. I submitted three fairly random titles as a test the other day which have just appeared in the last 24 hours in (initially) bare bones form:

Cross-Channel (2009, Ron Peck)
From Glasgow Green to Bendigo (1961, Robert Irvine)
How the Myth Was Made: A Study of Robert Flaherty's Man of Aran (1978, George C Stoney)

(Cross-Channel has just been released by Peck himself onto DVD. The 1961 doc is on Panamint's Weave Me a Rainbow compilation. And the Stoney film appears as an extra on the forthcoming Park Circus DVD of Man of Aran. I've reviews imminent for all three on the Digital Fix.)

Super, I've been trying to do this, but I guess I'm not savvy enough to get the things done proper.

I also have sent in titles from time to time, so I guess I'll do that as and when I come across a missing title. There are a few Australian titles I have in mind.

One for Anthony (as I recently watched it) - am I going blind or does the 1976 BBC documentary series Sailor really not have an IMDB entry?

I'm sorry about this, but the discussion in the MOC forum has gotten me to do a little research to find out that only one of Jose Val del Omar's films is listed on the site. Here's a link to as complete a filmography as I could find. Thank you very much to all that help.

Latest submissions:

Thorold Dickinson's Westward Ho! (1940)

Three from the Lux/PWA Themersons' set: Przygoda człowieka poczciwego, Calling Mr. Smith and The Eye & the Ear.

From the second disc in the BFI's Tales from the Shipyard set (was unable to add UCS 1 as the IMDb rejects titles that are made up of capital letters):

A Great Ship
Launch
The Sea Shall Test Her
We've Come a Long Way

A whole bunch of Maurice Pialat's short films are missing. from the Under the Sun of Satan disc there's Isabelle aux Dombes(1951) and Congres Eucharistique Diocesain(1953). Also from the La Gueule Ouverte disc there's Droles de Bobines(1957, Funny Reels), L'Ombre Familiere(1958, The Familiar Shadow), Bosphore(1964), and Maitre Galip(1964, Master Galip). Many thanks in advance.

You can push it through by submitting as U.C.S. 1 then once it is added it will require a note to the IMDb Help Desk to get them to correct to the proper format.

I'm not entirely sure if this one is missing, but is Rug(available on the Cinema Guild release of Shirin) not on IMDB or is it this title?
