Guitarist and lutist Julian Bream, who along with John Williams (no, not that one) was arguably the most important proponent of the classical guitar since the death of Andres Segovia. He's clearly not going to be remembered primarily for his contribution to film, but his work has featured on the soundtracks of things like the 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and I also recall him presenting an excellent mid-80s Channel 4 series about the history of the guitar.

Not confirmed yet (I believe), but hearing reports that Linda Manz has died. Apart from Days of Heaven, I’m not overly familiar with her work.

No obituary yet - that I know of - but a GoFundMe has been set-up for her funeral services.

I really like her in Philip Kaufman's The Wanderers where she plays the trash-talking gang girl who act like the mother to the Baldies gang.

Linda Manz also appeared in Dennis Hopper's Out of the Blue (1980) & Harmony Korine's Gummo (1997). A singular talent that Hollywood didn't know what to do with.

Tetsuya Watari, best known for his work in gangster films including Tokyo Drifter, Graveyard of Honor, the Outlaw series, and Kitano's Brother.

That's very sad to hear. Tokyo Drifter was my first introduction to yakuza films and still stands as out of one of the best of its genre, even more now that we can see a lot of the other films of the time to compare it to and how different it was.

I'd quite like to see 1997s Yukai (Kidnapping) some time, which appears to be a kind of crime film satire on the media reaction to an important business figure getting held to ransom. It looks as if he also appeared in a mid-90s biographical film of the life of novelist Kenji Miyazawa, most famous for his work Night on the Galactic Railroad.

Most recently Watari voiced the boss of the Kazuma family in the video games Yakuza 0 and the remasters of the first two games.

Jazz saxophonist Steve Grossman. A wonderful player on Miles Davis's great fusion albums, particularly A Tribute to Jack Johnson, which was recorded for a documentary film on the legendary boxer.

Ben Cross, whose starring role in Chariots of Fire at least kept him in regular work, even if by his own rueful admission nothing he did after that had anything like the same impact.

The other role that immediately comes to mind is the one that he played as the mostly absent in the real world but turning up in fantasy as the threatening father figure in Bernard Roses' Paperhouse.

I see from imdb that he also turns up as Spock's father in the 2009 Star Trek reboot too. And plays the extremely expendable role of the captain of the plane that Ray Liotta's psychopath takes over in that nuttily enjoyable thriller Turbulence!

I remember him best as Barnabus Collins from the failed '90s reboot of Dark Shadows.

I accidentally bumped into him at a club in Bulgaria roughly ten years ago. I was very young and it wasn't a long meeting, but he was very pleasant, from what I remember. Coincidentally, my father was set to interview him in the following days.

Chi Chi Devayne of RuPaul's Drag Race and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Reports say pneumonia, but since July she had a lot of health issues. Very sad. I wasn't a massive fan but her presence on the show always was welcomed.

Walter Lure of the Heartbreakers (Johnny Thunders's, not Tom Petty's).

He was the last one standing (EDIT: not unless you count Richard Hell, but he was with them very briefly and didn't appear on their official records) and actually became a stock broker on Wall Street, of all things. Their second guitarist and sometimes vocalist, he also co-wrote three of the dozen songs that made their one glorious album, the best of which is their classic second single "One Track Mind."

Author Gail Sheehy, who was also part of the New Journalism. Sheehy's article "The Secret of Grey Gardens," a cover story from the January 10, 1972 issue of New York, brought Jacqueline Kennedy's aunt Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale and cousin Edith "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale to public attention. (The Maysles brothers would later film them in Grey Gardens.) One of her best known books is actually titled Passages.
