I just wonder if the March ones will then only be shipped when the April ones are available.
It says as much at the top of the page in red text.

I only want to skip Lilith since I already have the Mill Creek release so that might be practical to get all other 7 releases.

They'll all be shipped together, so April. There is a message on the top of any pre-order product page that mentions that pairing a pre-order with a previously released item will mean that they will be shipped together.

Is this something Indicator always does? I'm not really interested in the March titles but definitely want all of April so I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for the May announcement to see if I'd want to add any of those. My unwatched pile is large that I don't mind waiting an extra mobth.
No. It seems that it was a typo. The previous bundle offer expired before the next month's announcements. The April titles seem to be doing the same with the bundle offer expiring on March 6 (in line for a Thursday announcement, as per usual). For whatever reason, the March titles were advertised as being available for bundle until March 1. Since the April titles aren't doing that, I imagine it it was an error or a one time deal.

It was but as I wrote, I wasn't sure if it's also representative for orders with multiple pre-orders waves, as opppsed to in-stock products and, say, March releases.

Maybe my question got raised at Powerhouse, but in any case, the Bundle page now clarifies :
"Any UK order which contains all four March titles and/or all four April titles will be sent when each month's releases are available. However, please note that any UK or international orders which combine some of the March titles and some of the April titles will only ship when the April titles become available."

That won't help me in the continent, but it's nice for UK people who can take advantage of the coupon and get their titles when available.

This month’s bundle lets you add any 15.99 movie to your preorder of the Dietrich/Von Sternberg set FYI

Does Indicator remove VAT from their international orders? I’m tempted to direct-order from them for the first time.

(Couldn’t find the info here as forum search was rejecting “+vat” from my search results.)

They do not. I assume that, like many smaller outfits, they retain it to subsidize international shipping costs.

Are we supposed to et then 10% of this £15.99 price ? I have pre-ordered The Missionary, but when adding the Dietrich box + any £15.99, the discount only appear on the set. Not sure if normal or not.

The way the discount works is that it applies 12% to the box set only.

Oh right, thanks ! I didn't realise it was a £6 pound discount while it should have been a £5 one.

Indicator Thoughts and Suggestions

#162 Post by Billy Beta » Mon Jun 24, 2019 3:47 pm

I made a little extra last month at work and wanted to treat myself to a boxset from Indicator.

Pretty much any suggestion would be blind buy; I like the look of the Bud Boetticher set and have seen it's gotten great reviews.
But I'm down with anything really.

Let me know what you have and what you think.

Billy

September pre-orders are all £14.99 on Amazon UK at the moment, which is a better deal than Powerhouse's bundle for U.S. customers (basically £55 shipped)

Not sure how this is possible, but Hammer Volume Two: Criminal Intent is currently sold at 26 euros on Amazon.it, while it is still at 45 £ on the Indicator official site...

I've seen cheap stuff like this many times on Amazon.it and .es. I still don't know how they do that, but my guess is that being Amazon tax- and logistics-wise helps a lot in here.
They had the French Cassavetes set (IIRC) for like 10€ instead of the 60€ MSRP.

With that flash, I reckon so. And it being a bank holiday, I’d expect other labels to follow suit, so look out, wallet.

Confirmed on Twitter as a 4-day sale starting at 12p UK time. This will be the only sale of the year.

This is both good and bad news for me. Good because there’s a bunch of Indicator titles I want and bad because I’m basically out of shelf space and too lazy to thin the herd and sell off the stuff I don’t want/need anymore. It’s not the worst problem to have I suppose.

Me right now: well I've never seen any of the Harryhausen films, I've never watched anything resembling them in any way, I have no childhood memories or attachment to those films or anything like it...

But I still want it.

As much as we loathe endless discussions of packaging here, Indicator’s box sets just look really, really fab. I’ve never seen a William Castle movie, but I want that first set just because it looks so damn striking in pictures.
