I havn't posted on here for a while, but I found some info about this over on Fangoria about a spin off show from the Masters of Horror guys that they are going to start called Masters of Science Fiction. The only info so far I've see or heard about is this-

This is news to me but they're off to a good start by adapting a Harlan Ellison story.

From what I've heard, John Milius will be adapting Stanislaw Lem's The Hunt (from Tales of Pirx the Pilot), and Ray Bradbury will write an adaptation of his own story Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed.

Yeah! I really dig his non-fiction work... Watching and The Hornbook -- great, great stuff.

Good deal that Ray Bradbury is working on something for this. I was thinking that sooner or latter he would do something for Masters of Horror, but I think this will suit him better. This was news to me also until I heard about it Tuesday, I'm just wondering who their going to get to work on it, because off the top of my head it would be hit or miss to try to get some of the directors I'd love to see work on this show, such as Ridley Scott, ect.

Would love to see a film/TV-series based on British author David Wingrove 'Chung Kuo' book series. It has a very visual storyline (compared to many seminal and important sci-fi) and has some serious improvement potentials as the 8th and last book starts out masterfully with kid soldiers but Borks way to hell in obviousness and pipe dream metaphors. Unfortunately it's easily a $300M project, has a massive and complex cast, contains plenty of porn and gory violence and mostly takes place in Chinese environment. Its totally unsellable to studio suits who can bring such project to power players like Spielberg. So of course it won't happen.
